Post Samhuinn sleepiness

My goodness the weekend was crazy being a summer dancer- but hey we made the bbc! [link]
And now winter is here, I am looking forward to embarking on a winter project. I have been blessed with the opportunity to illustrate a friends book (which is now in press- well done Trisha! :-))and was really compelled to paint. I think the Samhuinn preparations brought me closer to nature and gave me some much needed inspiration, so my plan for winter is to absorb the cyclical changes around and get the art out.
But at least for a bit, I have PhD work to catch up on....

Thank you very much for adding Grutle to your favourites and for the sweet comment about my gallery. You have lots of great work, and I like the mixture of different art forms in your gallery. Especially fantastic to see images of Liverpool and edinburgh, where I have lived and now reside. :-)

Thank you VERY much for looking at my Gallery and your kind and thoughtful comments! Two of my Favourite places! I was at Liverpool College of Art in the 1960's and I love edinburgh! The train from Kings X to Edinburgh passes my house! Cheers!
